Job summary

ABC Supply, the nation’s largest distributor of exterior and interior building products, seeks an experienced Warehouse Lead to join its team in Chesapeake, VA. You will provide leadership and direction to the warehouse team, ensure safety and quality, and help drive accurate orders and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include unloading and receiving deliveries, selecting and staging orders, operating forklifts, and delivering strong customer service on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse leadership role.
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift 75-100 pounds minimum.
• Basic computer skills.
• Building materials experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the warehouse team.
• Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse.
• Respond to calls from the sales floor in a timely manner.
• Complete pick ticket orders.
• Unload/receive all deliveries.
• Pull and stage orders for each company delivery truck.
• Perform rotating loading/unloading duties.
• Provide customer service.
• Double check loads for accuracy and secure them for delivery.
• Operate forklifts safely and responsibly.
