Job summary

Capstone is a North American supply chain solutions partner seeking a warehouse associate in Topeka, KS. The role pays $20.00 per hour, with weekly pay and a 7-day operation from 6:00pm until finish; schedule set at hire.

You will learn all aspects of receiving and loading operations, work solo or in teams, and move pallets with forklift, pallet jack, or by hand. Capstone emphasizes a high-performance culture, safety, training, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, capable of fast-paced, physically demanding work.
• Ability to lift and carry 25–75 lbs as required.
• Warehouse experience or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-shift meetings and participate in stretching exercises.
• Perform safety observations and support management.
• Coaching and training new staff; communicate with leadership.
• Handle yard marshalling duties and coordinate with delivery personnel.
• Learn all aspects of receiving/unloading and loading operations.
• Move pallets and cases using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.

The Opportunity

This is the next step in an associate's path to management

You will learn al all aspects of receiving /unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision

Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner

Oversee a specified area within work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations

Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand

Requirements

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
• Lift and carry 25-75lbs, materials handled vary
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
