Job summary

Tomra of North America Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Lead in Rotterdam, NY. The role is full-time with a 3:30 PM–12:00 AM night shift. Pay is $30 per hour. The lead will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate daily tasks, and oversee inventory, driver activities, and audits to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of leadership experience, is physically able to perform duties, and can work overtime on weekends if required. A pre-employment screen is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment screening.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, kneel, twist for an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to work occasional overtime on weekends to meet business demands.
• Not afraid to work hard and get dirty.
• Basic computer/math skills.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements.
• Interpret specifications to workers and assign duties.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.

Our warehouse leads play a critical role in meeting our daily business demands. The singular goal of the position is to supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse workers by performing the following duties.

Job Description

• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment
• Interprets specifications to workers, and assigns duties
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
