Job summary

TOMRA in Rotterdam, NY is hiring a CDL-A Yard Jockey for 40–50 hours per week. The role involves routing trailers between the yard and docks, loading and unloading cargo, and handling 25–50 lb lifts. Both morning and evening shifts are available, with paid training and full benefits.

Earn $27.56 per hour with year-round work and a referral program. Well-maintained equipment and other benefits are provided by TOMRA.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDL-A license.
• Must have a driving record that is rated as satisfactory.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Familiarity with handheld devices or ability to learn to use smartphones or similar devices.

Responsibilities

• Route and position trailers between yard and docks.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo.
• Assist with lifting 25–50 lbs as needed during truck movement.
• Shift coverage available in AM and PM.

Job Description

• Loads, secures and unloads cargo


• Lifting 25-50lbs at a time while managing trucks


• Both AM & PM Shifts available

• Knowledgeable on how to use handheld devices like smart phones or other similar devices, or ability to learn these skills
