Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the warehouse team and ensure smooth packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in daily operations
• Oversee preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing, and inventory
• Ensure accuracy and condition of shipments; lift and carry materials as needed
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures
• Address shipping discrepancies with team members to rectify issues
• Assist with regular inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when required
• Assist in selecting, training, motivating, and evaluating team members

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in running the warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Assist with inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
