Summary
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for providing instructions to the Warehouse Team to receive, store, load and ensure beer and other materials are handled safely.
This opening is on 1st shift. Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Perform inventories on packaging material and packaged beer as required.
- Handle, store, and prepare to ship all beer products without damage to the offsite warehouse as well as unload incoming ingredients and packaging materials.
- Verify incoming brewery ingredients and outgoing beer for accuracy and specified beers and/or other warehouse supplies and material; match loads to purchase orders or bills of lading and fill out master receiving and shipping logs.
- Check and verify all incoming Microstar orders and submit the reports to Microstar on the daily and month cycles as required.
- Help reconcile all inventory load discrepancies with packaging, brewing and the offsite warehouse.
- Facilitate communication between offsite warehouse and the brewery for both incoming and outgoing product.
- Maintain all warehouse equipment in good working order including maintenance and warranty work on all forklifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to the Warehouse Supervisor and Production Coordinator.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be forklift certified.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Salary Description
$24.00/hr.
