• Maintain organized storage area and recommend space use improvements.
• Keep equipment running by enforcing procedures and coordinating maintenance.
• Stay current with job knowledge through ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team that covers the areas of shipping/receiving and picking/packing
• Hold people management responsibilities including hiring, training, coaching, planning and assigning daily work, ensuring safety rules and other policies/procedures are adhered to, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems
• Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems and identifying warehouse system improvements
• Maintain storage area by keeping floor space organized, adhere to storage design principles, and recommend improvement opportunities
• Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, handling preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs
• Stay up to date with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
• Promote and uphold Richelieu’s set of Core Values
• Perform any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor
