Warehouse Lead

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers and prepare documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Essential Functions

• Complete all essential functions of the Warehouse Associate position.
• Lead a group of shipping and receiving team members.
• Manage communication flow to load finished products onto trailers.
• Communicate instructions to equipment inside the warehouse.
• Coordinate trailer loading locations.
• Prepare documentation such as purchase orders, Bill of Lading, and invoices.
• Communicate with carriers to ensure timely collection and loading of finished products.
• Review operator and carrier data in the Tracking Platform.
• Maintain food safety practices and comply with SQF System requirements.
• Report deviations, problems, or abnormalities with equipment, processes, or products.
• Perform any reasonable or safe tasks assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment and role, including managing people/projects.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
• Travel requirements: None.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in a similar environment and role, including managing people/projects.

Competencies

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Analytical skills.

Education

• Minimum: High School Diploma.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
