Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Lancaster, CA, is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee shipping and receiving operations, lead a team of staff, and ensure accurate documentation such as bills of lading and invoices. You will coordinate loading, communicate with carriers, and maintain SQF food safety standards.

You will drive efficiency, safety, and quality, while ensuring timely product distribution and accurate records, reporting to the supervisor and adapting to changing warehouse needs.

Qualifications

  • 4 years experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years experience in Warehouse Lead or similar role.
  • 4 years experience managing people or projects.
  • Travel: no travel required for this position.
  • 6 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • 6 years experience managing people or projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate shipping/receiving team.
  • Ensure timely loading of finished product onto trailers.
  • Prepare Bill of Lading and invoices.
  • Communicate loading instructions to warehouse equipment and staff.
  • Coordinate trailer loading locations and carrier communications.
  • Maintain SQF food safety requirements and report deviations when needed.

Warehouse Lead

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers and the preparation of documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Essential Functions
  • Ability to complete all essential function of Warehouse Associate position
  • Leading group of shipping and receiving team members
  • Responsible for the communication flow to load the finished product to the trailers.
  • Communicate the instructions to the equipment inside the warehouse.
  • Coordinates the location where each trailer will be loaded.
  • Prepares the documentation to issue a purchase order (Bill of Lading and invoice).
  • Communication with carriers to ensure on time and form the collection and / or loading of the finished product.
  • Review of operator and carrier line data in Tracking Platform.
  • Ensure that food safety practices and all applicable requirements of the SQF System are maintained.
  • Communicate any deviation, problem and / or abnormality with the equipment, processes and products.
  • Any task that is not deemed unreasonable or unsafe and is asked to be done by team member’s manager or supervisor
