Job summary

Maersk Performance Team in Groveport, OH is seeking Warehouse Associate Leads to supervise a 10+ person warehouse crew in a fast-paced distribution center. You will direct daily operations and coordinate with supervisors to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines.

This direct-hire role offers a Monday–Thursday shift 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, a four-day work week, and opportunities for annual bonuses and raises.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a group of 10+ employees in warehouse operations.
• Read production schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Organize materials and items on racks and shelves per defined sequences.

Job Details

We are seeking Warehouse Associate Leads in Groveport, OH! Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm 4 day work week! Direct Hire! Annual Bonus! Annual Increase!

Summary

Receives, stores, and distributes material and products within warehouse by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to lead and direct team efforts in a warehouse environment.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information such as labels.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Arranges product in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.

Responsibilities

• Leads a group of 10+ employees in the warehouse operation.
• Includes ability to lead, motivate and direct team efforts while informing department supervisor of problems or potential problems that require immediate attention.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• one to three months related experience and/or training;
• or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

$22.00 per hour *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
