Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA in Groveport, OH is seeking a Warehouse Lead for 1st shift. You will lead warehouse personnel, ensure accurate order selection and shipping, monitor processes and safety, and drive productivity while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities include assisting with timely order assembly, maintaining professional relations with colleagues and customers, communicating policies, and supporting the Warehouse Manager to identify root causes of variances.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehousing experience; prior leadership preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (60–75 lbs) with or without accommodation.
• Work at heights up to 26 feet with safety equipment.
• Self-starter; able to multi-task.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with AS400.
• OSHA certifications required on hire.
• Strong PC skills in Word and Excel.
• Ability to plan workload and staff assignments.

• Maximize quality and productivity by understanding the expectations of the company and assisting the Warehouse Manager in evaluating performance variances in order to identify root cause and corrective action.

The Warehouse Lead

Responsible for leading and controlling activities of branch warehouse personnel assigned. Ensures order selection and related shipping functions are performed in an effective manner. Monitors work processes and environmental conditions to ensure the safety of all employees.

1st Shift - 7:00am-3:30pm

$19.50/hr

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in warehousing required; previous leadership experience preferred
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 60-75 lbs) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift)
• Must be able to work regularly at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
• Must be a self starter with the ability to multi task
• Possess excellent judgment and decision making skillsEffective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient using the AS400
• Able to understand written English without using translation software
• Obtain all necessary certifications required by OSHA upon hire
• Possess strong PC skills in Word and Excel
• Capacity to effectively plan workload and staff assignments
