Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Greensburg, IN is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise packing, shipping, receiving and inventory, train teammates, and ensure accurate shipments while maintaining a safe, productive workplace. A valid driver’s license and strong communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse team and packing, shipping, receiving and inventory processes.
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in running the warehouse.
• Oversee preparation of items for shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Ensure accuracy and condition of shipments; lift and carry materials as needed.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Address shipping discrepancies with relevant team members.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Order warehouse supplies as needed.
• Assist in training, motivation and performance reviews of team members.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Warehouse Lead. This is a full-time position in Greensburg, IN. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in running the warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Assist with inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members

Requirements:
