A leading company specializing in vibrating equipment is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Crystal Lake. General Kinematics is the premier manufacturer of vibrating equipment for the processing of bulk materials. From vibratory feeders to entire process systems, General Kinematics creates the solutions customers require to process even the most difficult materials.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to support daily operations, team development, and uphold standards in quality, safety, and productivity. This position requires a leader who is hands-on and capable of fostering a performance-driven warehouse culture.
Job Responsibilities
· Lead and supervise warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals
· Schedule, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
· Drive warehouse safety, quality, and compliance standards
· Operate mechanical equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to assist with material handling
· Train and mentor team members, participate in hiring and onboarding processes
· Collaborate with other departments to align on materials and scheduling
· Enforce company policies, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a clean and organized work environment
· Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
· Minimum of 5 years warehouse experience; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
· Must be forklift certified and physically capable of lifting 50 pounds regularly with occasional lifting to upwards of 75 pounds.
· Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; understanding of warehouse software is a plus
· Effective verbal and written communication in English
· The willingness to work from existing policies and procedures and the ability to build knowledge.
· Must be detail-oriented and able to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
· After-hours call list with weekends and holidays
Pay: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to, a candidate’s experience, qualifications, geography, and internal equity.
