Job summary

Action Overhead Garage Door is seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and support a fast-paced team alongside the Warehouse Manager.

You will lead by example, ensure inventory accuracy, and prepare materials for installation and service teams while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or related experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience operating forklifts or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily organization and workflow of the warehouse.
• Receive, organize, and maintain inventory.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare materials and job orders for installation and service technicians.
• Build and prepare door hardware, track, springs, insulation, and other materials for upcoming jobs.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Train, mentor, and support warehouse team members.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Work closely with management to improve processes and maintain operational efficiency.
• Provide exceptional internal customer service by supporting field teams with timely and accurate material preparation.
