GROWMARK FS is seeking an operational assistant to support daily duties at their facility in Pennsylvania. This role involves maintaining operations, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety and compliance standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant retail experience.
Headquartered in Milford, Delaware, GROWMARK FS has branches in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The purpose of this position is to assist in daily operational duties at the facility.
Adhere to GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT procedures as applicable. May be required to drive and run local errands. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one or more years of retail-related work experience demonstrating knowledge of basic business principles, inventory management, and mechanics.
Essential abilities include business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs as needed.
Often required to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
Work may expose employees to dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.
Work hours may vary outside of normal hours to meet seasonal demands.
Willingness to participate in required training related to GROWMARK policies and procedures, as well as position-specific training.
