PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

The purpose of this position is to assist in daily operational duties at the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Maintain operations at the retail supply location and follow the maintenance schedule for facility and equipment.
2. Manage inventory and distribution of products. Drive and deliver miscellaneous products as requested. Stock and move warehouse products and materials.
3. Assist both full-time and part-time operations personnel. Maintain the facility and equipment appearance.
4. Contribute to achieving goals by improving efficiency and reducing costs.
5. Provide excellent customer service.
6. Collaborate with the location manager on all safety and compliance issues.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Adhere to GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT procedures as applicable. May be required to drive and run local errands. Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one or more years of retail-related work experience demonstrating knowledge of basic business principles, inventory management, and mechanics.

Essential abilities include business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Frequently required to lift 51-70 lbs as needed.

Often required to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.).

Work may expose employees to dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures.

Work hours may vary outside of normal hours to meet seasonal demands.

Willingness to participate in required training related to GROWMARK policies and procedures, as well as position-specific training.
