Job summary

Western Partitions, Inc. (WPI) is hiring a Warehouse Associate to assist shipping and receiving, prepare project orders, and maintain inventory at the Salt Lake City site.

This role offers competitive pay and a full benefits package including a 401(k) with match, medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and holidays. Candidates must lift up to 50lbs, have a valid Driver’s License, forklift certification, and basic IT skills including Excel.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of tools and materials we use.
• IT familiarity with Excel and time entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping & receiving goods/materials at warehouse and job sites
• Prepare order requests for projects
• Organize items to company standards at warehouse shop
• Record and maintain inventory levels for materials
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks at warehouse
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat: sweep, dust and mop.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment

Requirements

Basic Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Safely operate forklift with certification
• Basic knowledge of the tools and materials that we use.
• IT familiarity with Excel, pdf. editor, time entry
• Forklift certified – industrial and rough terrain
