Job summary

RiverTech in Virginia is seeking an IT Software Analyst to manage IT assets and optimize warehouse software systems. You will support WMS, inventory software, and IT infrastructure to keep operations running smoothly.

You will collaborate with IT, warehouse staff, and vendors, handling troubleshooting, audits, and training. A secret clearance is required, with certifications preferred. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in IT support, software analysis, or asset management, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Manhattan, Oracle WMS) or inventory tracking software.
• Proficiency in IT asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper, or similar).
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL) and basic scripting for automation.
• Understanding of network infrastructure, hardware troubleshooting, and software deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work with technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have secret clearance.
• (Preferred): ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or similar certifications.

Responsibilities

• IT Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets (hardware & software).
• Audit IT assets for license compliance.
• Administer and support WMS, inventory control software, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot software issues and coordinate patches with vendors.
• Integrate new software with existing systems and ensure seamless data flow.
• Provide user training and create SOPs for IT processes.
• Ensure cybersecurity controls and access management for warehouse systems.
• Generate reports on asset usage, software performance, and uptime.
