Job summary

TechnoGuard, Inc. in Sterling, VA is seeking Warehouse Inventory Techs to support logistics and inventory control operations, reporting to the Inventory Supervisor. The role involves picking, packing, unloading, stocking, and maintaining organized inventory, with forklift-related duties and safety compliance.

You will work 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, five days on, two days off, with overtime as needed, in a noisy environment with potential temp variations and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 6 months of prior retail and/or warehouse order fulfillment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail in busy environment.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Basic hand tool and power tool knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack materials for delivery to sites as requested.
• Assist in unloading tools and/or material deliveries from incoming POS and retaining paperwork.
• Restock and organize materials on racks and shelves as needed.
• Notify team of low inventory when found.
• Assist in organizing and counting of returns from the field and keeping proper records.
• Monitoring all staff members to ensure safety procedures are followed when operating forklifts and other machinery.
• Ensuring work and storage areas are clean and maintained.
• Assist the shop floor when needed or inventory work is slow.
• Other Duties as assigned

## DescriptionWarehouse Inventory Techs works to support all TechnoGuard logistics and inventory control operations, while supporting the Inventory Supervisor in daily duties. Additionally, they will assist the production staff and warehouse operations as needed. They are to ensure that all inventory procedures are followed, and the inventory and tool area is kept in an organized manor, while doing tasks as assigned to facilitate the flow of materials in and out of the warehouse. Applicants must be able to work in areas exposed to constant loud noises, temps ranging between 0-100 degrees, and be able to lift 50lbs+ and be on their feet 75% of day or more.
