Job summary

Summary of the RoleThe Warehouse Technician will manage all activities related to the functioning of the warehouse in order to meet or exceed customer expectations and to achieve facility and company goals.ResponsibilitiesMust maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and proceduresReceives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouseIdentify any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisorPicks product in warehouse and prepares items for pick up, delivery or shippingPackage and ship through UPS, Fed Ex, and LTL Motor FreightAssist with staging local shipments for VMI delivery and Hot ShotsHandles customer pickupsMakes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvementsAssists with physical inventoryProperly label and store received goods for future identification and retrievalMaintain all warehouse locations, bins, and racks in a neat and orderly fashionProperly keep designated stocking locations stocked as requiredPull stock for all “Pick- Pack-Ship” orders for daily customersProvide correct parts and materials for daily production ordersPerform other duties as trained and qualified forSkills and AbilitiesBasic computer skills in MS Office, internet and emailExperience working in ERP or Inventory system such as P21 a plusBasic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software and to create packing listSelf-starterExcellent attention to detailApplicants should possess the ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner.
