Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory control through receipt, storage, movement, picking, and shipment of materials. The role ensures material availability and inventory accuracy while maintaining a safe, organized facility.

The position may assist with shipping/receiving, warehouse material handling, and inventory transactions, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety policies. On-site work 5 days a week in Milwaukee area.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing or distribution preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production and other departments as required.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Process shipping and receiving transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material identification, transactions, and stock rotation practices.
• Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventory activities.
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of warehouse and storage areas.
• Monitor and manage inventory within secured or restricted-access storage locations.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or shortages.
• Follow established procedures for material movement, storage, and inventory control.
• Comply with all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist with other inventory control and warehouse-related duties as assigned.
