Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory control through receipt, storage, movement, picking, and shipment of materials. This role helps ensure material availability, accuracy, and efficient flow of products across the facility, with potential involvement in shipping/receiving and warehouse handling while maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control preferred.
• 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials and products.
• Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production and other departments as required.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Process shipping and receiving transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material identification, transactions, and stock rotation practices.
• Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventory activities.
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of warehouse and storage areas.
• Monitor and manage inventory within secured or restricted-access storage locations.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or shortages.
• Follow established procedures for material movement, storage, and inventory control.
• Comply with all safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist with other inventory control and warehouse-related duties as assigned.
