Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. in San Antonio, TX seeks an Inventory Clerk for a 50% warehouse and 50% computer role on-site. You will receive material, verify contents, and log entries in Oracle while supporting installations.

Required education is High School or equivalent, with about one year in inventory control preferred. Proficiency in Excel/Outlook and familiarity with inventory software is desired. Salary range is $25-35 per hour with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent.
• Experience: one year in inventory control desirable; may be gained at Johnson Controls or another company.
• If education requirements aren’t met, two years in materials area may be required.

Responsibilities

• Physically receive material as it arrives to the warehouse and check packing slips.
• Enter receipts into Oracle and update the install project in proprietary software.
• Stage material on shelves by Install job using Move Orders.
• Transfer materials for installs from warehouse to technicians’ trucks.
• Enter material transfers in Oracle software and perform cycle counts.
• Enter cycle count data in Oracle for approvals and conduct manual inventories as needed.
• Enter orders for material through Oracle SAP and communicate via email with departments.
