Job summary

TW Metals, LLC is seeking an Inventory Clerk to compile and maintain stock records, count materials, and post totals to inventory systems. You will compare physical counts to records, investigate discrepancies, and assist in other areas of operations as needed to support a fast-paced metal distribution environment.

The role requires reading measuring devices, basic math, and good communication in English. Proficiency with Excel/Word is expected, and willingness to learn the internal mainframe

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or one-year college/technical certificate.
• Experience in metals industry is preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English, verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills required, including MS Office.
• Willingness to learn internal mainframe system and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Counts material in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
• Compares actual inventories to records in Metalware.
• Adjusts errors in computation or count and investigates discrepancies.
• Assist in other areas of operations as needed.
