Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation in California is seeking a Warehouseman to efficiently move and handle materials within the plant site. You will operate overhead cranes and forklifts, support production lines, and ensure accurate tagging and documentation of inventory.

You will maintain production line equipment, use computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED required; 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic with whole numbers and use of units for weight, volume, and distance.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and quality in inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials.
• Receives incoming inventory, ensuring proper tagging and documentation.
• Maintains production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime.
