Job summary

Uster in Knoxville, TN seeks an Inventory & Warehouse Associate to handle shipping, receiving, and inventory control tasks, and to perform ERP transactions with scanners. You will verify materials against POs, stock items, and prepare orders for production and shipping.

The role requires strong knowledge of ERP processes, cycle counts, and safe operation of material handling equipment; a valid driver’s license is necessary and lifting up to 35 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient with ERP and peripheral devices to perform inventory and shipping transactions.
• Experience troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and exporting/evaluating reports in Excel.
• Strong understanding of inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand/walk for long durations.
• Overtime may be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory control tasks and ERP transactions.
• Execute ERP transactions for receiving, movements, issues, transfers, and goods receipts using scanners.
• Receive, verify quantities and documentation against POs and packing slips.
• Put away goods receipts into designated locations.
• Pull, kit, and stage materials for Shop Orders, Spare Parts, customer orders, and production needs.
• Own replenishment of shop floor materials to prevent production interruption.
• Package and crate spare parts and samples; complete check sheets.
• Operate material handling equipment; perform pre-operation inspections.
• Carry out cycle counts; investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transaction processing and secure storage.
• Stock materials in designated locations with proper identification.
• Track counts and report discrepancies; handle returns to vendors.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and stockroom environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement in shipping/receiving, inventory control, and shipping.
