Job summary

Ponder Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team. This role supports warehouse operations, maintains equipment, and ensures materials are ready for field projects.

Responsibilities include overseeing orders and inventory, dispatching to the field, stocking and organizing supplies, and performing basic forklift tasks (certification preferred). The position offers a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience.
• Basic math skills (rate, ratio, percent calculations).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage varying situations.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee orders, inventory, and shipment of materials to and from the warehouse.
• Track inventory history and resolve discrepancies in stock control.
• Dispatch to the field and support field operations as needed.
• Deliver and pick up supplies and equipment from job sites.
• Coordinate will-call supplies and equipment from vendors.
• Stage and prepare materials and equipment for upcoming projects.
• Inspect and test equipment before and after use.
• Perform minor equipment repairs as needed.
• Restock supplies and maintain organized inventory.
• Wash and conduct weekly inspections of company fleet vehicles.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Perform weekly landscaping and facility upkeep.
• Operate a forklift (certification preferred).
