American Freight Furniture & Mattress is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure smooth movement and management of inventory from dock to sales floor and delivery. You will handle receiving, staging, and shipping while maintaining accurate logs and supporting customer pickup with friendly service.

The role emphasizes unloading trailers, moving merchandise between areas, and assisting customers by loading items into their vehicle. Safety and team collaboration are essential to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move at least fifty pounds.

Responsibilities

• Fills order requests, stage merchandise and load for timely shipments.
• Evaluates products and moves to designated zones for processing.
• Moves merchandise between dock, stockroom, sales floor, pickup or delivery, and removes 'sold' merchandise from the floor.
• Audits and maintains accuracy of the Hold for Merchandise (HFM) staging area.
• Assembles and disassembles fixtures for seasonal floor plan changes.
• Processes receipts and logs inventories; prepares shipment and delivery documents.
• Delivers items to customers at their cars and assists with loading and securing merchandise.
• Maintains safe/clean receiving area and supports cross-trained sales help when needed.
