Job summary

Aerotek in Norfolk, MA is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records and support daily shipping operations. You will pick, prep, label, and help with receiving to ensure smooth material flow in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Expected duties include data entry, cycle counts, and collaborating with the team to meet daily shipping deadlines while following safety procedures. This onsite role requires lifting up to 30 lbs and occasional cold-room work.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Proficient with basic warehouse software.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records through consistent data entry and documentation.
• Execute and monitor customer shipments to ensure orders are picked, prepped, and ready for the daily shipping deadline.
• Pick orders from warehouse storage locations, including brief entry into cold rooms when required.
• Ensure all products and orders are properly labeled in accordance with internal procedures.
• Unload incoming orders and materials from the receiving dock and verify quantities and condition.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing packages, staging shipments, and updating systems.
• Support cycle counts and other inventory control activities to maintain stock accuracy.
• Use computer systems to enter data, track inventory, and update shipment and receiving information.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety and operational procedures while handling materials and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
