Job summary

Meijer, a family company, is seeking a warehouse associate in Lansing, MI to ensure order and inventory accuracy for Fresh and Frozen foods, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

You'll perform receiving, shipping, and storage processes, follow inventory controls, and contribute to a clean, safe distribution center while working in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior warehouse experience is helpful.
• Maintain excellent attendance and work record.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensures order & inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Works with truck drivers and unloaders during receiving and shipping for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintains quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follows inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Completes receiving-order-shipping processes accurately.
• Keeps building sanitation standards consistently.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
