Job summary

IES is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance in Roanoke, VA. The role involves packaging, labeling, tagging, and logging daily warehouse activities to ensure accurate inventory and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include cycle-counting, data entry into the IES Inventory database, and safely loading/unloading goods. Familiarity with SAP/Spectrum and Microsoft Office is preferred; 5S/Lean practices are encouraged.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
Minimum two years’ warehouse experience.
Basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum).
Intermediate skill with Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to meet driving standards and handle warehouse inventory.

Responsibilities

Package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
Log daily activities: receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing materials, and completing special assignments.
Conduct cycle-counts and manage daily log.
Enter material into IES Inventory database.
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling.
Maintain warehouse quality by tracking damaged inventory and reporting it promptly.
Assist with other assigned responsibilities and lean 5S practices.
