Job summary

QXO is seeking a warehouse associate in Itasca, IL to support safe loading, inventory control, and accurate order fulfillment. You will operate a forklift or pallet jack, inspect stock for damage, and ensure loads are secured for transport.

The role requires standing up to 12 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds, with local travel as needed. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, basic math skills, and the ability to use a handheld scanner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, store in orderly and accessible manner, inspecting stock for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs during loading/unloading of trucks.
• Stand for up to 12 hours to perform job tasks.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.
