Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator Inventory Management to track and manage inventory accuracy, processes returns, and ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment. The role supports cost controls and cross-functional collaboration across the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include resolving count variances, moving inventory, handling recall notices, and preparing month-end reports. The position offers standard weekday hours with potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience preferred.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Research variances to ensure accurate inventory records and identify process improvements.
  • Move inventory locations to maintain efficient operations.
  • Manage daily returns process in warehouse and CRM.
  • Review, process and intervene on recall notices for products.
  • Transfer products to EDPR sites and ship to sites.
  • Track and report scrap levels for month-end reports.
  • Provide Finance with final reports.
  • Ship proper return packaging to customers for product returns.

Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Work schedule for this role is: 8:00am - 4:30pm (or working until the work is complete), Monday-Friday. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Mandatory workday last Saturday of every month,

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Job Summary The Coordinator Inventory Management is responsible for tracking and managing inventory accuracy of products. This job processes returns and recalls related to distributed products and fills out necessary paperwork as needed. The Coordinator, Inventory Management plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are filled on time and accurately. This job tracks the financial impact of inventory levels and frequently communicates cross functionally with internal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Researches and resolves count variances to ensure accurate inventory records and identify potential areas of improvement in the process.
  • Moves inventory locations as needed to maintain efficient and compliant operations.
  • Manages the daily returns process both physically in the warehouse and in CRM.
  • Reviews, processes and intervenes on all recall notices for products.
  • Transfers products to Emergency Drug Response Program (EDRP) sites in Distrack and ships to sites using Varsity.
  • Tracks and reports scrap levels in order to compile month-end Scrap, Morgue, and Variance reports.
  • Provides Finance a final report.
  • Identifies needs and ships proper return packaging to customers in order for a successful return of product.
  • Handles expired product return from vendors and creates Debit Memos using Distrack and MIF Toolbars.
