A leading company in identity and security is hiring a Logistics Warehouse Coordinator in California. This role focuses on managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Ideal candidates will have proven logistics experience and strong organizational skills, and will play a key role in optimizing supply chain efficiency.
The Logistics Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, shipping and receiving, and proper documentation. This role is key to maintaining smooth logistics operations and supporting supply chain efficiency.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Monitor and manage inventory levels; conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Oversee order picking, packing, labeling, and shipping processes.
Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation, including delivery notes, receipts, and inventory logs.
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure logistics requirements are met.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
Optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and movement of goods.
Use warehouse management systems (OTIMS) to track goods and generate reports.
Support warehouse staff through task assignment, training, and performance monitoring.
Handle returns and damaged goods according to company procedures.
Proven experience in warehouse , vault and/ or logistics (typically 2+ years).
Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and inventory control.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (OTIMS) and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Forklift certification
