Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm-10:30pm). You will supervise inventory control and warehouse operations, drive accuracy, and lead a motivated team to meet customer commitments.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, possibly on weekends.

• Supervise inventory control and warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring records, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily operational activities and staffing schedules to meet commitments.

• Monitor work quality, ensure policy compliance, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, productivity, and efficiency.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Supervise inventory control and warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
