Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) in Pryor Creek, OK.

The role involves leading inventory control and warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across the team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of logistics experience, proficiency in MS Office and scanner equipment, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in logistics or warehousing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and using computerized scanner equipment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control and warehouse operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring records, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily operational activities and staffing schedules to meet customer and company commitments.
• Train, coach, motivate, and develop team members to drive performance.
• Monitor work quality, ensure policy compliance and quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, productivity, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, team members, and cross-functional departments to achieve objectives.
• Resolve employee concerns and enforce policies to maintain a positive work environment.
• Support safety, housekeeping, and workplace organization standards.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
