Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Clerk in Fontana, CA to handle inventory, records, and customer service. You will ensure accurate packing, receiving, and orderly stock, while supporting daily warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must complete forklift training and obtain certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify shipments by packing slips and log shortages or damages.
• Enter packing slips and update system per procedures.
• Assign locations and label new parts; ensure correct bin locations.
• Process inter-branch shipments and generate picking lists.
• Pull customer orders for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins and paperwork.
• Process junk cores; tag, store, and return to vendors weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide driving directions.
• Process customer returns and ensure parts are resale ready.
• File freight claims for shortages or damages within 24 hours.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver when needed.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.
