Rush Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, verify, and stock incoming shipments, ensure accurate packing slips, and keep the warehouse organized and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more as required by position.
• Forklift training and certification within 90 days; 18+ years old as required by law.
• Valid driver license with insurability as per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all incoming shipments by matching counts to packing slips; enter packing slips into the system and handle shortages or damage.
• Process and store incoming stock within 24 hours; place in correct bin locations and barcode.
• Assign locations and update the system for new parts; label and organize.
• Check in and process inter-branch shipments; generate picking lists and stage parts for delivery.
• Pull customer orders and prepare for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins and keep parts/paperwork organized.
• Process junk cores by tagging, storing, and returning to vendors weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide accurate driving directions as needed.
• Process customer returns and ensure parts are in resale condition.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts within 24 hours.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver when needed.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.
