Job summary

Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Lewisville, TX. You will maintain accurate inventory records and support efficient order fulfillment within a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role focuses on cycle counts, variance investigations, and collaboration with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping teams to ensure inventory integrity while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

The Job at a Glance

As a n Inventory Control S pecialist at our, state-of-the-art fulfillment center you will work within our fast-paced, distribution environment. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the integrity of inventory data within the fulfillment center. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational efficiency, minimizing inventory discrepancies, and ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.

A Typical Day

• Maintain a safety-first environment by following safety procedures.

• Investigate and reconcile inventory variances using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Monitor inbound and outbound inventory movements to ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Collaborate with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping teams to maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
• Assist in root cause analysis for inventory issues and recommend process improvements.
• Support inventory-related reporting and metrics for leadership review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
• Operate RF scanners and other inventory tracking tools.
• Participate in physical inventory counts and year-end audits.
