Funciones esenciales
Inventory Analysis & RCA
- Own root cause analysis on large-value inventory adjustments and systemic cycle count variances, producing thorough documentation that supports resolution, quantifies impact, and prevents recurrence.
- Manage and execute Recall, DAP, UDR, VFR, Salvage, and Donation protocols with full process fluency, ensuring adjustments are accurate and compliant.
- Translate quantitative findings into concise, evidence-based narratives for DC leadership.
Zone Ownership and Operational Oversight
- Maintain full ownership of the assigned tempzone within the DC, including daily workflow guidance, adjustment oversight, and issue resolution.
- Conduct cycle counter audits to assess countintegrity and adherence, partnering with the DC IC Manager on coaching opportunities.
- Prioritize daily IC tasks based on business needs, balancing urgent operational demands against longer-horizon deliverables.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Establish a bi-weeklymeeting cadencewith the Site Director, focused on tempzone issues and collaborative problem solving.
- Maintain dailyconnects with Cycle Counter and Sr. Cycle Counter staff toalign onpriorities and surface emerging issues.
- Act as ICrepresentative in cross-functional settings,identifyingoperational issues and communicating data-driven solutions to DC leadership.
- Serve as proxy for the DC IC Manager in meetings with Site and/or Area Directors.
Special Projects and Process Improvement
- Own at least one active cross-functional IC project with DC partnership, driving from problem definition through implementation.
- Execute ad hoc project assignments from the IC Manager with analytical rigor and structured thinking.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IC processes, documentation, and reporting standards.
Team Development
- Serve as the assigned mentor for the Sr. Cycle Counter, meeting weekly to address development needs and support their progression.
- Model the standard of data literacy, operational ownership, and cross-functional accountability expected at the IC Analyst level, acting as a leadership resource when the DC IC Manager is unavailable.

The Inventory Control (\"IC\") Analyst is the analytical and operational engine of the IC team. A role built for someone who can move fluidly between data, process, and people. Owning a dedicatedtempzone within the DC, this roleis responsible fordriving inventory accuracy through root cause analysis, guiding the daily workflow of cycle counting staff, and delivering data-backed solutions to complex operational problems.The IC Analyst serves as a cross-functional partner to DC department leadership, translating inventory findings intoactionableinsight. This role requires someone who leads with curiosity, communicates with precision, and holds themselves accountabletocontinuous improvement across the operation.
Requisitos Mínimos, Cualificación, Habilidades Adicionales, Aptitud
- High school diploma or equivalent required;associate's or bachelor'sdegree in supply chain,logistics, business, related field, ordemonstrated work experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related analytical role within a distribution center environment.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis andcommunicatefindings in a structured, data-driven formattooperations or senior leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory adjustment processes including Recall, DAP, UDR, VFR, Salvage, and Donations.
- Proficiencywith WMS platforms; NTS experiencestronglypreferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience owning a dedicated inventory orworkflowarea within a high-volume DC.
- Familiarity with reporting/data querying (Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc.)and MS Office.
- Ability to build and interpret inventory trend analysis.
- Prior experiencefacilitatingcross-functional projects with DC or operations leadership involvement.
- Comfortable in leadership capacityduringabsenceof direct management, and ability to make sound decisionswith credibility.
