Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a Warehouse Helper II in Hamilton, OH to support daily warehouse operations. The role requires forklift experience or certification and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm with weekends as needed. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Experience operating a forklift; certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Load and unload trucks while maintaining proper inventory controls.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory management, and stock replenishment.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Support general warehouse and yard operations as assigned.

Position Summary

Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (Weekends based on business need)

The Warehouse Helper II is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, be certified or experienced in operating a forklift, and possess the physical ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Load and unload trucks while maintaining proper inventory controls.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory management, and stock replenishment activities.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Experience operating a forklift; forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
