Job summary

National Star Services is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate for a client facility in Chicago, IL. This role involves picking orders, organizing pallets, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse in a cold environment.

You will lift up to 90 lbs, work Monday to Friday 4:00 AM–12:00 PM on the 1st shift, with potential overtime and a path from temporary to permanent. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required to communicate effectively.
• Two valid forms of ID (Photo ID & SSC).
• Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs continuously throughout the shift.
• Available to start working as soon as possible.
• Must be able to work in a cold-temperature environment (-10°F to 30°F).

Responsibilities

• Picking and pulling customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing and organizing pallets for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Organizing products throughout the warehouse and freezer using pallet jack.
• Unloading incoming products and properly storing them in designated areas.
• Checking products and orders for accuracy and quality.
• Maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
• Performing daily warehouse cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
• Following all safety procedures and proper warehouse practices.
• Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job description

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company providing services nationwide, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at a client facility in Chicago, IL 60608.

Important: This position requires working in a cold environment and performing physical, hands-on processing duties. Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Employment Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Schedule

Pay Rate

$18.00 per hour. (Biweekly Pay)

• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be willing to undergo a Background Check.
• Must be available to start working as soon as possible.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs. continuously throughout the workday.
• Must be able to remain standing and active for extended periods of time.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold-temperature environment ranging from -10°F to 30°F.
• Must be able to remain on your feet and actively moving for approximately 80–90% of the shift.
• Must be able to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and other physical warehouse tasks.
