Premier Food Supplies, LLC in Illinois is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure the accurate receipt, storage, fulfillment, and shipment of products while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

This role requires receiving, inspecting, documenting shipments, picking/packing, loading/unloading with equipment, maintaining tidy inventory, regular counts, and strict adherence to safety procedures; shift is 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in receiving, storing and shipping.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and inventory tracking skills.
• Willingness to follow documented procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer and internal orders
• Load and unload with manual or delivery trucks using equipment
• Maintain organized and clearly labeled inventory storage areas
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies
• Follow established safety protocols and warehouse procedures
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free of hazards
• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided).
• Previous experience in cold, freezing, or hot warehouse temperatures. (Preferred but not required).
