Qualifications

• Basic OSHA knowledge and warehouse safety practices.
• MS Office proficiency (Intermediate).
• DOT, OSHA, EPS and hazmat knowledge.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.
• Travel 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse safety and equipment training for the Supply Chain Solutions division
• Monitor compliance with regulatory agencies and internal safety requirements
• Support safety and operational personnel across multiple warehouse facilities
• Develop compliance programs and employee safety management systems
• Conduct hazard analysis, evaluate issues, and develop safety solutions
• Coordinate safety investigations and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate SHS training and development needs
• Provide day-to-day compliance support including facility audits
• Lead SHS issues with the operations team
• Participate in and host vertical-specific training and calls
• Develop location safety supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Support safety and operational personnel across multiple warehouse facilities
• Develop compliance programs and employee safety management systems
• Conduct hazard analysis, evaluate issues, and develop solutions related to employee safety and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate facility safety-related occurrence root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate employee and management SHS training and development needs
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to Ryder facilities, including performing facility audits
• Support the Ryder operations team in leading SHS issues
• Participate in and host vertical-specific training and calls
• Develop location safety supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma/GED, Required
• 2 years or more of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field, Required
• 2 years or more in driving various PIT equipment, Required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, Required
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization, Required
