The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading logistics and warehousing organization in Melville, NY to hire a Warehouse Handler. You’ll assist with receiving, inspecting, and moving shipments, and you’ll help prepare orders for delivery while keeping accurate inventory records.

This is a hands-on, full-time role requiring the ability to lift 50+ lbs, operate forklifts or pallet jacks, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely lift and move 50+ lbs.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Organize and store inventory for efficient access and retrieval.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work with team members to meet daily productivity and operational goals.

As a Warehouse Handler, you’ll help manage the flow of inventory throughout the warehouse, from receiving incoming shipments to preparing orders for delivery. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work collaboratively will help ensure accurate and timely operations

What You’ll Do
