Job summary

Rich Products Corporation in Illinois is seeking a Group Leader to organize, coach, and supervise warehouse operations in a freezer environment at -20F. You will oversee receiving, labeling, storage, and loading/unloading of freight while ensuring accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will train and mentor associates, coordinate with suppliers and cold storage, and uphold food safety and quality standards across all tasks. Excellent leadership and forklift skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in food processing, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing with computerized equipment preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of forklift experience, preferably Crown equipment.
• Proficiency operating sit-down forklifts, extended reach lifts, and electric riding pallet jacks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, handling, labeling, and storage of materials.
• Supervise safe loading/unloading and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Monitor inventory, validate shipments, report discrepancies or damages.
• Ensure equipment functions and escalate issues.
• Lead, train, and coach staff; provide cross-shift support.
• Promote accountability, efficiency, and safety across the team.
• Train and mentor new associates on safe forklift operation.
• Ensure operations align with food safety, quality, and company standards.
• Maintain proper labeling and storage per warehousing norms.
• Support audits as needed.
• Coordinate with suppliers, shipping, and cold storage facilities.
