Qualifications

• One year order picking experience in a warehouse.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to read safety instructions and work orders in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Move and stack items during an 7–8 hour shift.
• Fill customer orders and deliver to packing or loading areas.
• Retrieve merchandise from bins or shelves and verify order accuracy.
• Operate pallet jacks and rolling carts.
• Keep the warehouse orderly and safe at all times.
• Wear required PPE and follow company policies.
• Communicate with supervisor about department issues.
• Prioritize workload and report on-time attendance.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Pick products for shipping to customers within Wilmar, LLC warehouse guidelines.

SHIFT

Days: Mon - Friday 5:30 am to 2:00 pm (8 hour shifts)

WAGE

$20.00 Hourly

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• This position requires 7–8 hours of movement per shift, including standing, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending at the waist, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs per instance.
• Fill customer orders and deliver them to the packing area or loading dock in a manner that meets company standards
• Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves and ensure the completeness and correctness of all orders filled
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and rolling carts
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper personal protective equipment
• Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures
• Perform duties as workload necessitates
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude
• Communicate regularly with supervisor about Department issues
• Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
• Consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of position
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• One year order picking experience in a warehouse

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
