Job summary

PDI, a Hy-Vee subsidiary, seeks Warehouse Generalists for 2nd & 3rd shift in Ankeny, IA. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, picking, palletizing, temperature monitoring, and loading trailers. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, operate stand-up rider pallet jack and forklift with RF scanner, and follow safety and sanitation rules.

Qualifications

• Industrial forklift and pallet jack license required.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• General knowledge of standard warehousing procedures and RF loading, receiving, stock rotation and replenishment.
• This is a semi-skilled position with heavy lifting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Selects product for shipment using stand-up rider pallet jack and VAU headset.
• Builds pallets and stretches wrap; labels front of wrap; stages on loading dock.
• Operates forklift and RF unit for stock rotation and replenishment.
• Receives and unloads incoming loads; verifies against supplier invoices.
• Monitors temperature of incoming product and loads trailers per router.
