Job summary

PDI, a Hy‑Vee company, is hiring a Warehouse Generalist to cover 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will handle product life cycle from receiving to shipping using standard warehousing practices and maintain safety and sanitation in all tasks.

Responsibilities include operating lift equipment, accurate picking, loading, temperature checks, and paperwork verification to ensure high quality, timely distribution.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year previous warehouse experience preferred.
• A pre-employment physical, drug screen, lifting, hearing test and background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up rider pallet jack and VAU to pick correct slots.
• Load and unload trucks; verify product and paperwork.
• Perform temperature monitoring for incoming product.
• Ensure pallet stacking stability and proper stretch wrapping.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and attendance policies.
