Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a General Manager I to lead a large warehouse operation, directing 100+ staff and overseeing inbound/outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and customer relations. You will drive labor planning, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet performance targets.

The role emphasizes safety, cost control, and continuous improvement, with a focus on Lean principles and adherence to regulatory standards. A dynamic, fast-paced environment offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain, business or related field.
• 7–10 years in warehouse/distribution with 100,000+ sq ft facility and up to 100 employees.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse equipment; OSHA/DOT/HAZMAT familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, and product disposition.
• Develop and execute a facility strategy, allocate resources, and resolve process problems.
• Plan long-term labor needs based on sales, forecasts, and historical data.
• Manage customer relationships and key accounts within the facility.
• Lead safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvements while expanding capabilities.
