Job summary

MAC.BID seeks a Warehouse General Manager to lead all warehouse operations at the Greenville site. You will manage day-to-day activities, supervise the management team, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive improvements across metrics and budget goals.

The role requires on-site availability, strong leadership, and a track record in operations. This salaried position reports to the District Manager and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• On-site availability required; schedule varies by location.
• Must lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Must pass an MVR and pre-employment background check.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests during employment.
• Forklift certification (or in-house training/certification).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability.
• Must meet the Insurer's minimum age requirement of 21.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Management Team.
• Manage day-to-day operations to ensure Safety, Quality, and Efficiency.
• Directly supervise the supervisory team (Team Leads and Managers).
• Supervise discipline, performance assessment, development, and reviews of supervisors and warehouse team members.
• Use independent judgment and collaborate with Recruitment/HR on staffing/hiring decisions.
• Report OSHA and WC incidents to HR/Safety.
• Report personnel time off to HR.
• Help set and be accountable for meeting and exceeding metrics and budget goals for the warehouse.
• Train, supervise, and provide day-to-day guidance of warehouse team members.
• Oversee the Receiving process, including quality control and tracking of quantities ordered vs. received.
• Oversee organization of the product and maintain layout of the warehouse space.
• Responsible for safety and general care, cleaning, and maintenance of the warehouse and infrastructure.
• Communicate effectively with team members to balance needs of MAC.BID, the warehouse team, customers, and suppliers.
• Assess team morale and work to ensure high morale.
• Show continuous improvement in all areas.

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Warehouse General Manager will effectively manage all aspects of the warehouse, departments, and personnel for the location. This position isdesignatedas safety-sensitive and is subject to reasonable suspicion and annual drug testingin accordance withcompany policy and applicable law. This position reports to the District Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Friday between 7:30am-8:30pm, depending on the location. Schedule determined by workload
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Must pass an MVR and pre-employment background check
